It’s fitness with a twist! Expect to increase your fitness level while learning to defend yourself effectively in all situations. In these classes, students will develop strength and coordination as well as learn effective responses to various self-defence situations with simple techniques.
There are two key factors in successfully defending ourselves. The first is to avoid the situation altogether and we achieve this by having an awareness of our surroundings. The second factor is having the confidence to remain calm when faced with a potentially threatening situation. When we have control of our emotions we are able to make better judgments.
Stay focused and motivated through the ongoing practice of movements and improved flow and coordination, which allows for automatic responses in different situations daily. In these classes, you will work at your own pace according to your own fitness level.
